Former frontman of No 1-charting, multi platinum-selling Aussie band george, Tyrone Noonan, is back at the Park Ridge Tavern for two shows this month. Based in New York and London for five years, the ARIA award-winner is excited to be re-engaging with a blossoming Australian music scene. Tyrone is no stranger to the road, having performed in almost every corner of Australia – and subsequently all over the US and the UK – with his various projects.
Growing up with a deep appreciation for music, Noonan’s career has included jazz, musical theatre, pop, rock and soul – actually there aren’t too many genres he doesn’t cover – and has taken him to most of the worlds music hot spots to perform. His shows will be a mix of covers and originals including songs from his upcoming album, Utopia. He even promises to throw in a bit of Keith Urban to keep the country fans happy.
Tyrone Noonan will be performing Friday 5 and Thursday 18 April at the Park Ridge Tavern. Entry is free and you can find more information at www.parkridgetavern.com.au
